- Abstract
The article discusses a study related to comparison of heart rate variability (HRV) in medical students and association of stress with HRV in both genders. It mentions an increase in number of female students in the category of high and severe stress in comparison to males. It also mentions that medical students are exposed to stress during medical training that affects cardiovascular health of the student resulting in decreased HRV and increased blood pressure and rate pressure product (RPP).
