Abstract
This article presents the Supreme Court case "Guidry v. Sheet Metal Workers National Pension Fund." It notes that the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals held that the anti-alienation provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act do not bar garnishment of benefits paid to plan participants after such benefits have been paid to the beneficiary.
