- Abstract
The Cover shows the high‐performance catalysis of Pd@meso‐SiO2 yolk–shell nanoreactors in the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction. In their Full Paper, Cao, Song, and co‐workers present an effective way to prepare these nanoreactors composed of nitrogen‐doped carbon as the yolk and mesoporous silica as the shell, together with Pd nanoparticles, which were uniformly encapsulated in the void space through self‐condensation of polydopamine templates. The mesoporous walls of the silica enable facile mass transportation and the Pd nanoparticles are fully accessible. In addition, nitrogen‐doped carbon spheres help to stabilize the Pd nanoparticles. More details can be found in the Full Paper by C. Cao, W. Song et al. on page 2475 in Issue 16, 2015. (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201500600).
