- Abstract
In 2015 women more actively pursued upper secondary and further education than men but were more under-represented in traditionally male-dominated research fields. The goal of this study is to examine how organisational culture promotes or impedes the implementation of the EC flagship initiative Structural Transformation to Achieve Gender Equality in Higher Education and Research Institutions. A slow, holistic, multi-layered approach to change management was analysed. This approach suggests taking overarching and cross-related actions. The provided guidelines explain methodology behind structural change and its impact on organisational culture.
