- Title
Dynamic epiglottic retroversion in six adult horses: A good example of dynamic endoscopy and critical thinking.
- Authors
Ahern, B.
- Abstract
The author discusses aspects of abnormal respiratory noise in horses due to dynamic epiglottic retroversion (ER). He explains that ER requires the use of dynamic endoscopy to gather a precise diagnosis and a more accurate understanding of the anatomic causes of respiratory noise. The author believes that endoscopy offers a diagnostic modality that determines the actual performance condition of horses.
