The article presents a historical geographical examination of the possible location where Mormon founders Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery were said to have received the Aaronic priesthood through an appearance of John the Baptist in 1829. Details are given outlining the geography of Harmony, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania in 1829 where the events are described within Mormon texts.
