- Abstract
The article discusses a 2011 study led by Brian A. Francis on transient vision loss resulting from trabeculectomy. The study showed that over 50% of patients who underwent trabeculectomy are likely to experience decreased vision, adding that most of the patients regained their vision. It explores one finding regarding vision recovery in which average time was about three months. Findings also indicate that 24 eyes considered in the study had permanent vision loss.
