- Authors
Robinson, Gesine Schenke
- Abstract
The article discusses the discovery of the Gospel of Judas that has caught the attention of the public. It says that the manuscripts have reveled contexts regarding the world of Early Christians, and provide data for research on the development of Gnoticism. It states that the public was presented with an interpretation on how the Church could reevaluate and revise doctrines as the contexts would reveal the truth. Furthermore, the Gospel has revealed why Judas was the most trusted companion of Jesus Christ in getting rid of his body, and his own ascendance into the heavens.
