- Title
Biotic contexts alter metal sequestration and AMF effects on plant growth in soils polluted with heavy metals.
- Authors
Glassman, Sydney I.; Casper, Brenda B.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the variations in the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)-plant interactions due to changes in edaphic conditions. It informs that the plants grow much larger in size in soils with less heavy metal contamination and mycorrhizal and non mycorrihal fungi (NMF). As mentioned, in D.flexuosa the non-AMF biotic context affects heavy metal sequestration and associated number of non-mycorrhizal (NMF).
