- Abstract
An essay is presented which examines the author's experiences as a female law professor and her keynote speech on teaching race, gender, and class which was delivered at the New England Clinical Conference at Harvard Law School in November 2015. Crimes against black people in America are examined, along with poverty, imprisonment, and diseases impacting poor people and people of color. The fears of black people are also assessed.
