- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the teaching of criminal law and procedure in the law school curriculum in the U.S. He believes that the aim of teaching civil rights issues in required courses is to offer students a broader and more complete picture of the legal landscape related to the subject matter. He notes that students' interest in the subject increases when law professors use innovative and provocative course materials and presentations that integrate civil rights issues.
