- Abstract
An editorial is presented that focuses on the screening for the Anorexia of aging. Topics discussed include Anorexia of aging defined as the physiological change with aging that increased the risk for weight loss, malnutrition, and reduced quality of life; mentions the components for the diagnosis of malnutrition as non-volitional weight loss, low body mass index, and a reduction in muscle mass; and discussions on the role of robust screening tool to evaluate appetite among older persons.
