- Abstract
The article explores the bilateral relations between India and the U.S. as of 2013. The bilateral U.S.-India trade and investment has grown to almost 30 billion dollars, with strong foreign direct investment (FDI) growth from India to the U.S. In 2014, India will participate in the U.S. Pacific Command's Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) naval exercise for the first time. Also discussed are the differences between India and the U.S. concerning Afghanistan.
