- Title
NMR and the elusive GPCR.

- Abstract
The article focuses on the study by Daniel Nietlispach and colleagues regarding the importance of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in the transmembrane protein structure determination. It demonstrated a high-resolution structure of seven-helix transmembrane phototaxis receptor sensory rhodopsin II (pSRII) from Natronomonas pharaonis. It indicates the possibility of determining high-resolution structure of G protein-coupled receptors (GGPCRs) through NMR spectroscopy.
