The article compares the works of Italian author Primo Levi and Italian poet Dante Alighieri. It considers Levi's complex allusive technique as a sign of his prefatory poem. The presence of Biblical texts in the poetry of Promo is explored. In addition, the article discusses the allusion to Dante in the poem "The Canto of Ulysses."
