- Abstract
To carry out railway surveying and mapping work in complex mountainous areas, it is generally difficult to implement conventional surveying and mapping methods due to natural environment, climate and other reasons. There are disadvantages such as high potential safety hazards, low work efficiency, and poor surveying and mapping quality. To improve the efficiency, it is necessary to carry out research on the application of new technologies and methods of surveying and mapping. Through a large number of technical research and engineering project practice, the characteristics of new surveying and mapping technologies and the application scope of surveying and mapping products were systematically analyzed, and an integrated comprehensive surveying and mapping technical scheme for "space-air-ground" was proposed for complex mountainous railways. A complete set of "space-air-ground" was constructed for the surveying and mapping work of complex mountain railway. Taking the surveying and mapping of the Jilong-Zangbo area of the China-Nepal railway as an example, a 1 ∶ 2 000 scale topographic map of 373 km² was drawn using a high-resolution satellite image stereo pair. High-density laser point cloud data of 17. 6 km², surveying and mapping results such as 1 ∶ 500 scale topographic map, digital elevation model, and 1 ∶ 200 scale section of typical difficult construction sites were generated. The research shows that, for complex mountainous railway, the construction of an integrated comprehensive surveying and mapping system of "space-air-ground" can solve the problem that the traditional survey method is difficult to achieve "to the top of the mountain and the bottom of the valley", and it can meet the accuracy requirements of survey design for surveying and mapping results.
