- Title
Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Abstract
The article reports that relief operations by U.N. agencies were put on hold in the war-torn North Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo after renewed hostilities with rebels threatened food distribution and refugee camps. Humanitarian workers have revealed that uncertainty remained three months after the government agreed with militia groups and rebels to lay down their arms.
