- Abstract
There is a great demand of natural gas from the Chinese society against the air pollution. However, the formation water from sour gas field is a big challenge for the wastewater treatment unit because it contains high concentration of sulfide. The ozonation process has been used for treating sulfide wastewater. The influence of ozone output, liquor temperature, pH and pipeline reactor on sulfion removing effect have been studied. The results show that ozone is an effective method for wastewater treatment, and increasing the output of ozone could enhance sulfion removing rate; reducing the PII level to neutral, increasing liquor temperature and increasing pipeline reactor length can enhance the utilization of ozone; and sulfion removing rate, as well. When the ozone output is set to 30 g /h, the length of pipeline reactor set to 280 cm, the removing rate of sulfion could reach 98. 65% after 50 minutes.
