- Abstract
In response to the problem that the traditional electromagnetic centerless fixtures and double roller fixtures cannot meet the processing requirements for outer surface of non-ferromagnetic rings of miniature anti-magnetic bearings, an end face pressing mechanism is designed based on existing grinders, achieving the goal of replacing the electromagnetic coil to generate axial force. The mechanism and the functions of each component are introduced in detail. The various indexes of small outer diameter surface and end face of the bearings ground by the mechanism meet the technical requirements, verifying the feasibility and reliability of the mechanism during grinding of the bearing rings. The new scheme shortens the process flow, reduces the processing difficulty and labor intensity, reduces the scrap rate and improves the production efficiency.
