- Title
Response to Williams’s Commentary.
- Authors
Tripp, Gail; Wickens, Jeff
- Abstract
The authors respond to comments made by Jonathan Williams about their article on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Although Williams shared their thoughts about ADHD being highly heterogenous, the authors believed that there is much to be learned from examining the behavioral and clinical implications of simple, definable, neurophysiological changes in dopaminergic function. Their article is aimed at discussing the altered sensitivity to reinforcers that is observed in ADHD.
