- Abstract
The efficiency of photoelectric units (based on the crystalline c-Si and tandem thin-film α-Si/μ c-Si) is considered in relation to atmospheric parameters under increased humidity and cloudiness conditions, which are manifested as the corresponding dependences of the spectral distribution of solar light. It has been found experimentally that, under these conditions, the power per watt of installed power is higher for units based on α-Si/μ c-Si: (i) at low insolations (up to 150 W/m) due to their higher sensitivity in the short-wavelength part of the spectrum and (ii) at higher insolations (>400 W/m) due to the weaker temperature dependence of the efficiency.
