- Abstract
The article discusses fee speech, the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the 2010 case Holder v. Humanitarian Law Project, and the application of the Holder case's speech standard to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts case United States v. Mehanna. Defendant Tarek Mehanna was convicted and sentenced to over 17 years in a U.S. federal prison for allegedly providing material support to the al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
