- Abstract
The article discusses a case of a 20-year-old man with aortic coarctation. It states that the man was referred from the pediatric cardiology department for follow-up to the adult congenital cardiology department. The man underwent a resection of a subaortic fibromuscular ridge. After 12 years, he had aortic recoarctation and was implanted with Palmaz P308 in the thoracic descending aorta. However, during the echocardiographic follow-up, the stent was found out to be malpositioned.
