- Abstract
The article presents various studies on prone ventilation with mild or moderate acute respiratory distress syndrome. Topics include reduces mortality in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) by prone ventilation; and effects on lung and chest wall that reduce ventilator induced lung injury (VILI) by reducing airspace collapse through prone positions.
