- Abstract
The Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal, published by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and Wiley, aims to publish original research in all areas of family and consumer sciences. The latest issue includes eight original research articles from various sub-disciplines within the field, as well as two book reviews. The articles cover topics such as the experiences of individuals in Baltimore during the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact of social anxiety on forming romantic relationships, and the effectiveness of work-based learning experiences in Family and Consumer Sciences classes. The book reviews discuss resources on climate change and household financial resources. The journal also recognizes the winners of the 2023 FCSRJ Best Papers, Outstanding Paper, and Emerging Scholar Awards, as well as outstanding reviewers and associate editors. Researchers are encouraged to consider submitting their work to the journal.
