- Abstract
This study aimed to identify teachers' perceptions of Distance Education (DE) at the Federal Institute of Acre (Ifac), seeking consensus on the difficulties and needs of distance education teachers, which will be used in the elaboration of a training proposal for the use of Resources Open Educational Programs (OER). A training research was developed, of an applied nature, based on the principles of the collective research modality, in the qualitative approach and with descriptive objectives, carried out through digital tools, such as: the questionnaire in Google Forms, forums in Moodle and inserted external tools to this environment, among them: the Padlet and the Mentimeter. Data were analyzed through the phases of Creswell's (2006) spiral analysis. The results showed the little knowledge of teachers about this educational modality and about OER, as well as the need to work both on the knowledge related to technical processes, for the use of ICTs, and the didactic-pedagogical processes appropriate to the EAD modality and to the use of OER. Therefore, there is a clear need to rethink the political quality of this educational modality, especially with regard to the dialectic between theory and practice, so that knowledge can be applied in the teachers' daily lives.
