- Abstract
The Internet of things (IoT) devices are gaining popularity due to the available high-speed internet services provided by the 4G networks. When the 5G is fully deployed, the IoT devices will be increased to trillions in operation and may cause heavy load on the Cloud data centers for data processing, which in turn can cause latency and network congestion for immediate result response. Cloud computing environment is not suitable for many Internet of things (IoT) user applications, hence, fog computing concept is used, as its distributed approach addresses the needs of IoT and industrial IoT applications, as well as the immense amount of live data generation, which would be expensive and tedious to ship off the cloud for handling and investigation. Haze registering arrangement decreases the organization transmission capacity required and lessens the to and fro correspondence among sensors and the cloud server farm, which can improve IoT execution. Mist computing can be considered as mini-data centers which are subset of Cloud data centers. This paper presents the possibility of resource optimization, service migration of mobile IoT devices from location one to next location and balancing of load in fog when the new service is trying to connect.
