- Abstract
In this study, the relations and interactions between creativity, in other words making use of brain power and conformism and disobedience in terms of organizations and individuals is inquired. Possessing abundant resources doesn't guarantee the development of societies. Today, the most powerful and the most influential countries of the world are not the ones with ample resources, but the ones utilizing their social intellect and creativity efficiently. Learning how to use brain power is the key requirement to be successful individually, organizationally, and socially. There exists a reverse relationship between an individual's utilization of brain capacity and conformism. Mental productivity necessitates some degree of opposition and disobedience. Persons? loss of ability to say "no", to defy, and to astonish will bring about the end of their creativity. Defiance and disobedience is an attitude specific to humanity. It seems that human history started with opposition and will probably end with a rebellion. In this context, those who define man as a being capable of saying no are also ones "I rebel, so I exist."
