- Authors
Gallacher, Ian
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insighst on the use and often misuse of harmony and dissonance in legal communication. He examines the application of harmony metaphor that explains the association of one thing to another. He argues whether a legal writer should not use inaccurate metaphors, which were widely accepted or they should restrain themselves of its use. He concludes that using metaphor, which is consdered as a common aspect of language, is not an accurate and efficient method for the task.
