- Abstract
Identify the main nursing care technologies used in the assistance to patients with COVID-19 in intensive care units. This is an integrative literature review. The search for occurrences in Scielo, Lilacs, PubMed®, BDENF and Medline databases. The descriptors "nursing care", "coronavirus diseases" and "intensive care units" were used. Eleven articles were found, with 21 health care technologies, three articles containing Soft Technologies, nine articles with Hard Technologies and nine articles containing Soft-hard Technologies. The main technologies identified were: use of personal protective equipment, mechanical configurations and oxygen therapy, equipment to replace organic functions and professional training. Despite the differences between the studies and those where they were carried out, the pandemic context is global and such technologies are essential in pandemic moments, in environments where there is nursing care.
