- Abstract
An alluvial fan of the Łomniczka River is situated in Wilcza Poręba - a district of Karpacz Town in the Karkonosze Mts. The alluvial fan is 1.5 km long and has a max. span of 750 m. This form is the same age like an upper surface of gravels terraces in the Jelenia Góra Basin. In a distal part of the Wilcza Poręba fan there was formed a 15-20 m high morphological step on tectonic fault. An alluvial fan surface consists of a few traces of recent hydrological network changes like a northeastward alternative flow direction of Łomniczka River. This paper commences a debate about origin and age of geomorphological forms of the Wilcza Poręba alluvial fan surface and about Łomniczka and Płomnica channels structure.
