- Abstract
The article focuses on the internationalized armed conflict. It says that the law of armed conflict is introduced upon a number of distinctions including the distinctions between state and non-state actors, times of war and peace, and combatants and civilians. It notes that one of the main distinctions in armed conflict law is the one between international armed conflicts and internal wars. Also provided is information on the international humanitarian law (IHL), and civilian population.
