- Abstract
The article reports that following acquisition of the colors division of Tenneco Chemicals in December 1973, American Aniline Products has changed its name to the American Color & Chemical Corp. (AC&C). According to spokesmen of American Aniline Products, the purpose of the acquisition was to combine company's strength in disperse dyes with Tenneco Colors' capabilities in direct and acid dyes. It mentions about locations of manufacturing plants of AC&C including the plant in Reading, Pennsylvania (direct and acid dyes) and the one in Paterson, New Jersey (chemical intermediates).
