The leaf aqueous extract of Stachytarpheta jamaicensis Linn Vahl. inhibited the growth of fungi such as Aspergillus sclerotiorum, Fusarium oxysporum, Memnoniella echinata and Penicillium corylophilum. This result supports the use of S. jamaicensis in ethanopharmacological information in developing phyto-antimyco formulations to control these fungi.
