Deals with the procedure in performing continuous adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) infusion test on patients with primary adrenocortical insufficiency and hypothyroidism or limited adrenal reserve. Statistical data of the patients' response to continuous adrenocorticotrophin infusion; Laboratory criteria for the interpretation of the ACTH infusion test.
