Discussion: Attachment level changes in destructive periodontal diseases.
- Authors
Zimmerman, Stuart O.
- Abstract
The article discusses the attachment level changes in destructive periodontal diseases. There has been growing recognition of the diversity both within and among patients suffering from the major chronic diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease and periodontal disease. The techniques of the proportional hazard model or logistic regression employ patient characteristics to determine whether a patient is likely to be responsive to given treatment. Included has been the t-test, the analysis of variance, categorical data analysis, regression analysis, Gaussian decomposition and, more recently, survival analysis.
