- Abstract
Pregnancy can be a stressful time for expectant mothers. A woman's body is consistently changing in order to care for the growing fetus. Every woman experiences pregnancy differently and there can be a variety of physical and emotional symptoms that come along with it. Yoga incorporates a variety of stretching poses, breathing, and meditation as a way to connect the mind and body. Prenatal yoga opens the door for expectant mothers to develop a connection with her body, mind, and unborn baby. Prenatal yoga can address many of the physical and emotional symptoms experienced during pregnancy.
