- Abstract
[ Objective]This present paper aimed to clarify the effect of kisspeptin on reproductive endocrinology in pre-pubertal female mice and its regulatory mechanism. [ Method] Tested mouses were seperately injected with different concentrations of kisspeptin, subsequently, FSH and LH concentrations of peripheral blood, ovarian weight, ovarian diameter, vaginal opening rate and pituitary gene expression were respectively detected. [ Result]The 3 µ,g kisspeptin not only significantly increased mouse ovarian weight, diameter and vaginal opening rate ( P < 0. 05), but also significantly increased FSH and LH concentrations of peripheral blood ( P <0. 05); Meanwhile, 3 µ,g kisspeptin treat ment could significantly up regulate GnRH-R, FSH/3 and LH/3 gene expression in pituitary gland ( P < 0. 05) . [Conclusion] Kisspeptin treat ment could advance the start of puberty in mice; Kisspeptin might increase the concentration by up-regulating the expression of FSH/3 and LH/3 mRNA or by indirectly up-regulating the expression of GnRH-R mRNA in the adenohypophysis of pre-pubertal mice.
