- Abstract
The article presents a report from a November-December 2015 workshop in Halle, Germany on Socialist eastern central European collective memory of the Holocaust. Topics of presentations delivered included the historiographic writings of the former director of the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw Bernard Mark, socialist Czech contributions to Holocaust historiography, and the alleged community-building role of the post-World War II Yiddish periodical "Sovetish heymland".
