- Abstract
The article discusses a court case of Bogan v. City of Chicago based on unreasonable search and the absence of exigent circumstances. The challenges faced due to the Fourth Amendment protections of the U.S. Constitution, exceptions to warrantless searches and the impact on the police investigatory process are discussed. The need of law enforcement, protection of privacy and the issue of burden of proof are also discussed.
