- Abstract
The article discusses the efforts to resolve the problems that are associated with the federal administrative law judge (ALJ) system in America as of 2013, and it mentions reform proposals and issues related to ALJs' job tenure and the Appointments Clause contained in Article II of the U.S. Constitution. The differences between ALJs and Article III judges in America are examined, as well as U.S. presidential control over ALJs and impartiality under the U.S. Constitution's Due Process Clause.
