- Abstract
This article discusses a rare case of cardiac tuberculosis presenting as a cardiac mass in an 18-year-old man. The patient initially presented with a non-healing ulcer and palpitations, leading to the discovery of a right ventricular mass attached to the intra-ventricular septum. Various imaging techniques, including echocardiography, MRI, and 18F-FDG PET/CT, were used to monitor the response to treatment. The article emphasizes the importance of considering cardiac tuberculoma as a differential diagnosis for unusual cardiac masses and highlights the role of non-invasive imaging modalities in managing such cases.
