- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the association of nonsynonymous single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to the susceptibility of lung cancer. The study analyzed 23 genes involved in the DNA damage repair pathways of 37 nonsynonymous SNPs of 50 lung adenocarcinoma patients. Results of the study show that there is a coassociation of several homoxygotes such as XRCC1 194Trp and RAD9 239ARG in the significant risk of the development of lung adenocarcinoma.
