- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the long-term safety of avoiding completion axillary dissection (CLND) in selected patients with positive sentinel lymph nodes (SLN). The respondents of the study are patients with invasive breast cancer who underwent SLN biopsy. The locoregional failure rate was low without CLND in selected patients who had positive SLN.
