- Abstract
The article presents a comment on the report by Elliot et al. in regard to conceptualizing dissemination research and activity and the case of the Canadian health initiative. The authors reflect that the report discussed several complex concepts in health promotion but lacked details. They commented on several topics mentioned in the article including the relationship between dissemination and capacity, how much capacity is needed to undertake dissemination and how can dissemination build organizational capacity. The argued that the sustainability of public health promotions may not be dependent on programs but to the extent to which various social factors are changed.
