- Abstract
The article focuses on the partnership agreement between USA Track & Field (USATF) and Nike which places an undue burden on track and field athletes freedom of contract. Topics discussed include responses and actions of track and field athletes after announcement of USATF and Nike's agreement for effects on athletes and their individual sponsorship agreements; violating federal antitrust laws; and violation of section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act.
