- Abstract
The author presents his concerns on a research conducted by A.A Dahab and colleagues on the migration levels of certain elements, bioaccessibility and health risks in the childcare products. Topics include the absence of total digestion to determine the total metal concentrations for potentially toxic elements in a product, the lack of consideration of the mobilization of contaminants into saliva, and the scraping of small quantities of material used in EN 71-3 chemical testing.
