- Abstract
The article discusses benefits of exercise in patients with early Parkinson disease (PD) and its impact on quality of life (QOL). Self-assessment of patients with PD following exercise regimens shows improvement in cognitive functioning and reduced depression. It highlights clinical findings of PD and gives positive effects of exercise. It concludes that clinicians should consider implementing exercise in conjunction with pharmacologie therapy.
