- Abstract
This article examines the interests of science pupils in junior high school in the U.S. The study of children's interests in science sampled 484 pupils in six junior high schools in the San Antonio Independent School District. Pupils wrote questions that they would like to have answered. The pupil's questions in the study were classified according to broad topics. This study suggests avenues of emphasis and evaluation for science teachers, curriculum committees and textbook authors in their endeavors to appeal to pupils' interest in science.
