- Abstract
The article discusses the problems associated in the science curricula of secondary schools in the U.S. The decline of percentage enrollment in the sciences and training levels of science teachers. Most departments of science have not provided training for secondary science teachers. Several aspects need to be considered in appraising the productiveness of science curricula. One, is through observation of the number of the competent candidates who enroll in the science curricula and another, is through evidence of improved general understanding of science and its function in the state.
